William C. Dameworth to Participate in ASA Panel Discussion

William C. Dameworth, managing member of Forensic Strategic Solutions and member in charge of valuation services, will be participating in a panel discussion entitled “Active Passive Appreciation – A Current Update,” at the American Society of Appraisers (ASA) National Advanced Business Valuation Conference in Anaheim, California on October 9, 2018. Bill will join nationally recognized business appraisers Chris Mercer, Jay Fishman and Ashok Abbott in discussing the requirements for and key elements involved in active passive appreciation analyses, with a recognition that state law differs with regards to divorce valuation. This conference is one of the largest nationwide annual business valuation conferences.

Conference attendees will learn more about how active passive analyses are typically conducted, drawing from the experience of the panelists and case law around the country. The panelists will highlight significant cases from the last five years.

Bill has discussed active passive analysis in great detail on both our Blog and in our Video Center. Click here to learn more.
