Ralph Q. Summerford, president of Forensic Strategic Solutions, attended the IMSA GT3 Cup Challenge at Road America on August 5 – 6, 2017, as part of the Racing for Children’s team, sponsored by Jeff Stone and the Kelly-Moss race team. Jeff Stone, president and owner of the Kelly-Moss Road and Race team, was inspired by the work done at Children’s of Alabama and wanted to give back to the hospital.

In its seventh year, the Racing for Children’s team has raised over $1 million dollars to date for the Alabama Center for Childhood Cancer and Blood Disorders and other Children’s initiatives. The unique Racing for Children’s racecar is covered with colorful handprints of young cancer patients from Children’s and is also helping to generate awareness about pediatric cancer and potential cures. Thanks to continuing support for Racing for Children’s by Medical Properties Trust, the Children’s of Alabama logo and the handprints from young cancer patients at Children’s will remain on the car through the remainder of the IMSA Porsche GT3 Cup Championship Series season.
