Ralph Q. Summerford, president of Forensic Strategic Solutions, provided expert guidance in a WBRC (FOX – Birmingham) segment on nonprofit fraud. In the interview, Ralph discussed how people can ensure they are giving to legitimate charitable organizations in the wake of tragedies like recent hurricanes Harvey and Irma.

Ralph noted that people can access websites like charitynavigator.org and guidestar.org to evaluate how nonprofits are using their donations. In determining whether or not to give to an organization, Ralph suggested that donors closely examine the organization’s administrative expenses, executive compensation and fundraising activities.
