William C. Dameworth, managing member of Forensic Strategic Solutions and member in charge of valuation services, will be participating in a panel discussion entitled “Active Passive Appreciation – A Current Update” at the 2018 AICPA Forensic & Valuation Services Conference on November 5-7, 2018 at the Marriott Marquis in Atlanta, Georgia. Bill will join nationally recognized business appraisers Chris Mercer, Jay Fishman and Ashok Abbott in discussing the requirements for and key elements involved in active passive appreciation analyses, with a recognition that state law differs with regards to divorce valuation. This conference is one of the largest nationwide annual business valuation conferences.

Conference attendees will learn when and why an active passive analysis is needed, how these analyses are typically done and the importance of working with engaging counsel for jurisdictional nuances.
