Forensic Strategic Solutions was hired by the North Dakota University System (NDUS) to investigate the North Dakota State College of Science (NDSCS) after receiving complaints about the school’s TrainND program, its reporting of enrollment numbers and how school space was classified. The investigation performed by FSS did not identify any improprieties, misrepresentations or areas where they believed sufficient predication exists to expand the scope of work or to recommend a fraud examination. In addition to completing the investigation and submitting a report to the NDUS, FSS recommended regular compliance monitoring, reconciliation and the implementation of controls regarding registration reporting for the TrainND program.
