BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (February 21, 2014) – Forensic Strategic Solutions, Inc. (FSS) is pleased to announce that Lindsay Harder Gill, director of forensic technology, has been recognized by the Birmingham Business Journal as one of Birmingham’s “Top 40 Under 40” for 2014. The designation is one of Birmingham’s most prestigious honors for professionals under the age of 40, who make significant career achievements and have demonstrated social responsibility. Gill is included in the Birmingham Business Journal’s 2014 Top 40 Under 40 issue, released on February 21 and available here.
In her role as director of forensic technology at FSS, Gill helps lead the company to stay ahead of cutting-edge financial investigation industry developments. Most recently, she formalized a new Forensic Technology Practice for FSS that combines computer forensics with investigative techniques to help clients respond to organizational vulnerabilities and sophisticated attacks led by internal or external threats.
Gill joined FSS in 2003 and has conducted financial investigations for both publicly and closely held businesses in many industries, state and municipal governments and public school systems. She works closely with clients including the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Secret Service, Alabama Attorney General’s Office, the Office of the Inspector General, attorneys, business owners, boards of directors and non-profit organizations.
Gill is a frequent guest lecturer on a variety of fraud-related topics including the use of data mining tools to detect fraud, electronic evidence and discovery and internal investigations. In addition to her achievements at FSS, she is an active community member and has served in several leadership positions for the Rotaract Club of Birmingham and is a 2010 alumni of Leadership UAB.
Gill and other members of the 2014 Top 40 Under 40 Class will be honored at a luncheon on Feb. 27 at the Sheraton Birmingham Hotel.
